Texas Public Purchasing Association

welcome!

Announcing the formation of a new statewide association for public purchasing professionals – Texas Public Purchasing Association!

This new organization began its journey on January 1, 2008, and we would like to invite you to join us.

Background

In November 2006, the Texas County Purchasing Association (TCPA) and the Texas Purchasing Management Association (TPMA) agreed to merge and TxPPA is the result.  The merger resulted in the very first Texas statewide, multi-agency public purchasing organization.

A Foundation Committee was formed, consisting of representatives from cities, counties, schools, special districts, state agencies and higher education. This Committee has been diligently working to firmly establish the TEXAS PUBLIC PURCHASING ASSOCIATION.
